  • Ingredients
  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil

    700 g lean beef, cut into small steaks

    1 small onion, finely chopped

    1/2 tsp. steak seasoning

    2 cups mushrooms, sliced

    21/2 Tbsp. plain flour

    21/4 cups water or 570 ml

     pinch of ground black pepper

    1/2 tsp. tomato paste

    1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

    1/4 teaspoon Italian spices

    2 cubes chicken stock

  • Directions
  • -Heat oil in a large non-stick pan.

    -Add the steaks and fry over medium heat on both sides until brown then remove from heat and set aside.

    -Add chopped onions and sugar to the same pan and sauté over low heat for 3 minutes or until onions and sugar brown color.

    -Then, add the mushrooms and flour and stir until the flour changes color to golden.

    -Add water, black pepper, tomato paste, italian spices and chicken stock cubes and salt.

    -Then, put the mixture on the fire until it boils and stir constantly, then cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

    -Return the steaks to the sauce and put on low heat for 3 minutes and then serve the dish.
